Strange oracle error on file uploads

I'm having trouble uploading photos. When I try to use

ns_ora blob_dml_file

I get an error "unknown command `blob_dml_file': should be resultid,
resultrows, clob_dml or exec_plsql." Could we be running an older
version of the oracle driver that needs to be updated?

There was an older version or the oracle driver. I have updated in webwork2,3,4.
