i am a uk owner of a piper pa28r with avidyne,i have been grounded
for a month because pfd has failed warantey with piper and avydine
isnt good does anyone know what the cost of spare pfd scren would
cost as failures seem common.

I think we are talking at least $10,000 and probably a lot more. The PFD is all one big box. Our Cirrus is about to be grounded due to a requirement to upgrade the Avidyne software to make it compatible with our Garmin 430W (WAAS) units...
