for visitors to Berlin or Prague from Philip Greenspun
The last time I was in either city was 1993. I stayed with my friends in Berlin and in an apartment I found through the railway station tourist office in Prague. Consequently, I can't give you any hot tips.

I strongly recommend the Cadogan guidebooks to both Prague and Berlin. The DK guidebooks are great for inspiration and photos.
