Objective
This lesson aims to sharpen proficiency in piloting from the left
seat while performing certain special operations. It
will also introduce full touch down autorotations with instructor
assistance.

- Detent spring (override position)
- Minimum airspeed
- Minimum RPM
- Level attitude
- 2 pulls method on collective pitch
- Cyclic position after ground contact
- Aborting procedures
Left Seat Practice: Special Operations
- Reconnaissance procedures
- Confined area operations
- Pinnacle and ridgeline operations
Student Practices Autorotations
- Autorotation with power recovery
- Autorotation -- full touch down

Completion Standards
At the completion of this lesson, the student shall exhibit
knowledge of the elements related to the maneuvers in this lesson and
perform them within commercial standards. The student shall also gain
proficiency performing full touch down autorotations with instructor
assistance.
