Objective

The student will assume the instructor's role and construct an entire lesson plan for an introductory helicopter student. The lesson will include a preflight briefing on selected maneuvers and in-flight instruction using the demonstration/performance method. The lesson should follow this basic structure:

  1. Introduction
  2. Body
  3. Conclusion

Completion Standards

The student shall assume the instructor's role and construct an entire lesson plan for the lesson period. The student shall perform a preflight briefing on the selected maneuvers and conduct them using the demonstration/performance method while simultaneously explaining the maneuvers.
