This lesson is the stage three flight check. The instructor will be
the cheif flight instructor, assistant chief flight instructor, or
appropriately qualified designee of the chief flight instructor. The
student will demonstrate adequate performance of all maneuvers in
preparation for the commercial pilot practical exam.

- Preflight procedures
- Airport and heliport operation
- Hovering maneuvers
- Takeoffs, Landings and go-arounds
- Rapid deceleration (quick stop)
- Precision autorotations
- Hover autorotations
- Systems and equipment malfunctions
- Settling with power
- Low rotor RPM recovery
- Confined area operations
- Postflight operations
The student should perform all review maneuvers to at least
commercial pilot PTS standards.
