The worst part is watching the bears eat. When the salmon are running well, they only like to eat the skin and the brains: [BIG] [BIG]


Emma, the most attractive of the "cupcakes" both inside and out, was a 24-year-old Italian-American from Rochester. [BIG] Upon arrival at the camp, her ambition to learn French over the summer earned her nearly unanimous ridicule. Other staff were afraid that she'd come away with a tangible accomplishment and they'd have to feel like intellectual bums. Whenever I moved Samantha from her charging perch in the lobby--there are no locks in Brooks Camp and nobody thinks twice about leaving thousands of dollars of equipment lying about in a public place--howls of outrage were raised.
