I agree with Roberto Mello's posting: People has to remember that there is more than one way looking at things. What worries me is that this kind of soap opera is not good for business. I am afraid that customers (as it is already happening with developers) might start looking somewhere else. Instability is the worst thing for a corporate manager. And who wins if Arsdigita looses clients? Microsoft will probably be happy if one of the best opensource projects dies, and I am sure they knew most ACS developers have feelings for other Open Source platforms (e.g. Linux, AOLServer) and would not appreciate aD going for .NET. So maybe this was not such a bad idea from the management.... uhm maybe they are smart enough to know that such a thing would cause troubles in the community and more licenses of loose2000 and their database could be sold.
