I followed Philip's work over the past few years, and it is sad that it is now really getting messy at aD. I made a similar experience over the past few months, when I joined a start-up company that was destroyed by the VCs playing dirty games (and incapable ex-consultants tried to act as senior managers). My take on VCs: they do not understand what Philip's work is about, but they believe they are the best in running any company (at least if somethings happens where they believe they do know better). Unfortunately, they do not care about anything else beside the money they invest in a company, and this is what it makes so sad. My take on ex-consultants running companies: Doomed. These guys are good at flying in, pointing out the obvious to people incapable to see it, and then fly-out again. They feel proud doing this.
