I am very sad to hear that Philip has gotten into trouble. Philip has always been my guru. I read his first Web RDBMS book back in 97. It inspired me so much that I got involved in the www business as a developer. In 99 our company, 40 employees at that time, was sold to a larger company that had more money. The group is now 1300 employees , and a lot of "business-wise" CxO's and other kind of managers. They succeeded in ruining a perfectly healthy company in under a year, pissed of 90% of the customers and loose market share to our competitors, not to mention the huge debt. Worst of all, they pissed of the employees. We are now in the process of buying out the remains of our company - down to 10 employees. Venture Capitalists and "wise-businessmen" sucks! They don't know a s**t about running a software company. I know that from experience. Philip, I hope that you will win the lawsuit and turn your company around and in the right direction. I wish you all the best in the future!
