  The castle was in Conwy Wales and the other pictures here are in Bath. Doug standing on top of a turret of Conwy Castle in northern Wales. The castle was built by Edward the First, who conquered Wales by building a series of defensive fortresses, and moving in colonists to live first inside the castle, and later inside the city walls. In general the weather was wet and cold, but it cleared in time to take these photo's
