Philip Greenspun has more than 4000 hours of total flying time accumulated since late 2001. He has a Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor Certificates for both airplanes and helicopters. He has flown aircraft ranging in size from the two-seat Diamond Katana to the 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet. Greenspun obtained his helicopter instructor rating in January 2006 and teaches helicopter students at East Coast Aero Club (Hanscom Field, Bedford, Massachusetts) in the Robinson R44.
