The system isn&#8217;t quite as badly designed as the <a href=\"https:\/\/philip.greenspun.com\/blog\/2019\/03\/17\/certification-process-for-the-737-max-silent-gradual-pusher-system\/\">Boeing 737 MAX&#8217;s silent gradual pusher<\/a>, but it is nowhere near as robust as <a href=\"https:\/\/philip.greenspun.com\/blog\/2018\/11\/11\/boeing-737-crash-is-first-mass-killing-by-software\/\">the early 1990s design on the Pilatus PC-12<\/a> (Swiss engineering).
