Objective

This lesson introduces basic IFR flight maneuvers from an instructional perspective. The instructor will simulate a student and the CFII-H candidate will simulate teaching full panel attitude instrument flying, partial panel attitude instrument flying, and a non-precision approach.

Elements

Not all maneuvers must be performed. The instructor may choose at his or her discretion which areas need the most work.

Completion Standards

At the completion of this lesson, the candidate shall demonstrate basic attitude instrument flying, using full and partial panel, from an instructional perspective and a non-precision approach from an instructional perspective.
