State of the Archangel Michael, atop Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. This is by the 18th century Flemish sculptor Pieter Verschaffelt. Legend has it that in the year 590, the Archangel Michael appeared above the castle. Now he appears above the castle all day ever day.
