American Pit Bull Terriers are great dogs for everything except having around other dogs. Historically, they have been bred to fight each other to the death. Accidental fights can happen, so if you're around Pit Bulls, it's a really good idea to be ready, willing, and able to break up a Pit Bull fight quickly. I can't help with the "ready" and "willing" parts. For the "able" part, there are parting sticks, also known as breaking sticks.
