I'm thinking of finishing up my pvt license with these guys are they
safe, good school?

These guys are very safe and effective. They have been in business for a long time and have a good reputation. Instrument ratings are probably what they are best known for (I got mine with American Flyers in 1996 at their DuPage, IL KDPA location). They are extrememly professional and will tailor a program specfically for you to complete your license. They might be a bit more expensive than alternatives; however, they are sure to be one of the most effective at getting you finished quickly.
