Blogs have changed political decision-making already. It seems probable that this trend will continue to expand and become more sophisticated (but also more real-time, which detracts from sophistication).
As computing power and memory storage grows, one possible consequence is that political decisions and their results will become easier to track and more commonly understood. However, unintended consequences will also occur, as happened when stocks became vulnerable to computer trading.
