Here’s a story from Canada’s leading newspaper about the surprising connections between the tropical region around Iguazu Falls, which I visited in December, and Canada, where I’ve been since Friday.

I grew up just outside of London, and it really is fair to say that there is very little to do in that town (at least during the winter. During the summer there is an endless stream of entertaining festivals). While I think it’s shut down (haven’t been in a couple of months), there was a fabulous Indian food restaurant run by the most friendly bunch around the central of town (right near the scary Dundas Street East of Adelaide area). The `Nan’ bread is absolutely amazing. Anyways, it is , or was, called “Lal Qila”.
“Hands Across America” sounds like the name of a leprosy organization.
