Helicopter Engagement Flight

On Saturday morning, I flew a helicopter sightseeing tour over Boston. The passengers were Matt, his friend Dave, and his girlfriend Shannon. Unbeknownst to Shannon, Matt’s friends and family had hung a few signs in the windows on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center: see the photo.

  1. I think it is backwards! But she still said yes! (Unfortunately I got a bunch of radio calls from Boston Tower right after Shannon noticed the signs, so I had to put the intercom on “pilot iso”.)

  2. Was it intentional to place the question just below the word “PRUDENTIAL” ?? 😉

    pru⋅den⋅tial
/pruˈdɛnʃəl/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [proo-den-shuhl] Show IPA
    –adjective
    1. of, pertaining to, characterized by, or resulting from prudence.

  3. In an F-Minus cartoon, at a baseball game, the jumbo TV screen displays “Jennifer, Will You Marry Me? Jason”. Of course there are dozens of Jason & Jennifer pairs at the game, and many surprised Jennifers and horrified Jasons.
