Those are some pretty good ones. I especially liked the Afghanistan outcomes. How true to form.
I will miss these when the papers go the way of the buggy whip.
With elections for 2010 being mentioned over the healthcare votes, I went back and re-watched an old episode of The Prisoner called Free For All from 1967. (this show has recently been re-released on Blu-Ray) They really had something back then. In the episode I watched they were going to give #6 (thoe prisoner) a shot at winning the #2 position in a democratic election, with his idea of then being in control and setting everyone free. He wins using bland broad promises that he can never fulfill and nothing changes on the island and he is still stuck. I guess this was the shows creator’s way of showing what they thought of all elections in general.
