The Playa is too harsh for the typical dog. But if others in the family get to go there, shouldn’t the dog also have a Playa name? What do readers think a good Playa name for Mindy the Crippler would be? “Sirius” is one idea. (After watching this video I can’t get “Moon Pony” out of my head.)

I think Mindy the Crippler is perfect as it is, Playa Names don’t have to be one word. Mine is Captain Safety, there also is Caveat Magister, and numerous other lengthier ones. Mindy the Crippler rolls of the tongue and sounds like a name with a story, which in my mind that is what matters with a Playa name; is there a story behind it?
As an aside, you will certainly have that video out of your head soon, once BMORG buries Quiznos for their blatant copyright infringement. Soon Quiznos will join Girls Gone Wild and Krug champagne as yet another idiotic corporation who fails to understand copyright law and decommodification.
Say, is Ollie still around? We met in 2012, but I’ve not seen him mentioned on the blog for a while, seemingly replaced by Mindy?
Looks like a “Hardwood Floor Coquette Lizard” to me. But what do I know (I remember both George & Alex, of Samoyed doggy persuasion… they’d never consent to Silly Walks nor Silly Names). But do tell: what are your own & the rest if the family’s Burning Man monikers?
