BBC documentary: “Sugar vs. Fat”. It follows two identical twin doctors as they eat extreme diets of either sugar (carbs) or fat, and observes the surprising results on their bodies.
Summary: when lab rats are fed unlimited sugar/carbs but no fat, they self-regulate and don’t gain weight; when fed unlimited fat but no sugar/carbs, they self-regulate and don’t gain weight; but when fed unlimited sugar and fats the rats pig-out and gain much weight.
