It sounded okay when Hertz said that they didn’t have the Camry that I reserved but could give me a BMW sedan instead.

Ha ha. The Isetta probably saved BMW at a time when Germans didn’t make enough money to buy real cars in volume and Americans wanted cars with tail fins and V-8s and not the old fashioned looked BMW sedans of the time (BMW 501)
