Since nobody cares about Earth-bound cameras other than the ones built into mobile phones, DxOMark has taken to the skies with ratings of drone cameras. Nothing too surprising other than the GoPro product being so dramatically inferior to the DJI equivalent.

The ‘pro is the only one which still isn’t designed in China. They should stick to litigating immigration orders & let the Chinese design cameras. Of course, most of the FAA’s quad copter regulation is now written by DJI.
It’s surprising they haven’t reviewed the hottest drone on the market, the DJI Mavic Pro. Supplies are tight and DJI announced the Chinese market will get first dibs, so this suggests DXO does not have a preferred relationship with DJI, which augurs well for their objectivity.
DJI is rapidly becoming a serious camera company. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them elbowing into Canon/Sony/Nikon’s market within a few years.
