  3. The 737 Max was the best thing that ever happened to the bus. They’re making the government cut interest rates in 7 days & might become a subsidiary of Facebook. The 737 Max might cause the biggest refinancing boom in history.

  4. Maybe Boeing is going to go belly up as a result of this. Sentencing their customers to death because they screwed up the engineering and outsourced the programming is going to be remembered as the last thing they ever did wrong.

    On the bright side, they have more than 4,000 aircraft orders that might not be fulfilled and so everyone is going to have a long time to talk about how they screwed it up. Maybe someone will learn something they already should have known.

    BTW I read the Icon thing and who knows why you deleted it but you’re right. Imagine making an amphibious plane with tremendous insurance costs made for beginners that actually warns the pilot when it’s not about to land in the water with the gear down. They probably thought they didn’t have to do something as simple as that, but the world is becoming stupider by the day. We’re incentivizing people to make stupid decisions, and it’s going to get worse.
