What kind of paintings should Stormy Daniels create?

“Stormy Daniels must pay $300k to Donald Trump after losing defamation case appeal” (NBC):

Adult film star Stormy Daniels has lost her appeal in her failed defamation suit against Donald Trump — leaving her owing almost $300,000 in legal fees to the former president.

“I will go to jail before I pay a penny,” Daniels tweeted Monday after the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against her in the long-running case.

Trump hailed the ruling by the appeals court, which he often bashed as president, calling it “a total and complete victory and vindication for, and of me.”

Michael Avenatti filed the defamation suit against Trump in 2018, when he was Daniels’ lawyer. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, said in a statement Tuesday that Avenatti had filed the suit “without my permission and against my wishes.”

“Once it was filed, Trump’s lawyers overwhelmed Avenatti and I was left the victim of an attorney’s fee award,” she added, calling it a “sad reality” that a “predator” like Trump “can openly brag about assaulting women and become president and be awarded money for his bad behavior.”

(Michael Avenatti was too busy running for President to be an effective lawyer; see “‘When They Go Low, We Hit Harder,’ Michael Avenatti Tells N.H. Democrats” (NHPR, 2018))

At 44, Stormy Daniels might be a little old to make money in the ways that she used to. But if she needs $300,000 from for her service to the cause of anti-Trumpism, why not create some artwork that loyal Democrats can hang next to their original Hunter Bidens (between $100,000 and $500,000 each, according to the NYT)? It shouldn’t take long to recover $300,000 after gallery fees and taxes.

What should Stormy’s medium be? Oils? Acrylics? Watercolor? And should the works be abstract or representational?

One idea, given the likely market: Stormy Daniels could paint portraits of Hunter Biden.

  1. Pretty sure there are enough horny blog commenters for Stormy to pay off any legal fees the old way. A 44 year old woman in good health, in silicon valley is like a 30 year old in Vegas.

  2. The trollop’s claim that Avenatti filed the claim without her “permission” and against her “wishes” does not make a lot of sense as a defense against the award since she could have stopped the case by just calling Trump’s lawyer — and the case would have been dismissed — before the court awarded Trump his costs. She wants it both ways, I think the expression is.

  3. @Philg: I agree with @lion: Stormy could make the $300 grand back almost instantly, no touching involved. Her age is almost immaterial and with a little help from a stylist and a fitness coach she’d still look great for her intended audience(s).

Just a few years ago (2019) I drove through Newark, NJ and she was the big draw on strip club billboards for the higher-priced joints that cater to clients from NYC who don’t want to be identified attending strip clubs in Gotham. She just needs to update her act and move a little upmarket: her notoriety sells itself. John Waters could cast her in a movie for $1M advance. She could combine the strip club and movie tour with a book deal.

Jane Fonda can still put on a red dress and get photographed for Vogue.

$300,000 is NOTHING for Stormy Daniels at 44! Are you kidding me? A little work and some workouts and she could make a few $million in less than six months just at high-end strip clubs in a few cities in America.

Stormy Daniels is now a more internationally-recognized name than Charlie Daniels and probably close to Jack Daniel’s worldwide. She could plausibly make ten$ of millions with a creative international tour.

In fact, I’d be surprised if she hasn’t already been in touch with John Waters about a deal.

Her future earning power is virtually limitless if she now, and I’m totally serious. She ****ed Donald Trump and made him pay for sex, while he was ALSO married to one of the most beautiful women in the world! There’s almost nothing on this planet more valuable than that, and she still looks good!

    • @Philg:

And to answer the “which paint media?” question, the answer is: “Up to her, she can get some advice on that too.” She could plausibly make a line of videos that combine workouts with artwork and then sell selected paintings at her live performances. I would even recommend some artistic media she could combine with sweat and press gently up against different parts of her body to form various, subtle background elements: the paintings would literally have touched her skin and been inspired by her body and its natural movements, and contain – at some level at least – pieces of her DNA. From hand prints on postcards and up to full body size signed by the artist.

The sky is the limit. She just needs to imagine the possibilities.

  4. Finally, one thought regarding the longevity of her Brand: Stormy Daniels will be relevant and newsworthy at least as long as Donald Trump is, and he shows no signs of wanting to throw in the towel or fade away…at least, not yet. Since they are currently inseparable, I think it’s possible that in 10 years, more people will think Donald Trump was married to Stormy Daniels than he was to Melania.

But time could be running out. Once Trump disappears, Stormy Daniels goes with him.
