According to Democrats, this is the final week for same-sex marriage in the United States.
NBC, about 6 weeks ago:
I wonder if anyone told the happy couples in the article that “have children” is a process that, with the best current technology, can be rushed only to a certain extent.
Here’s a choice portion of the article:
They are one of many gay couples in recent weeks who are rushing to get married, start fertility treatments and take other measures out of fear that some of their rights might be rescinded during a second Trump administration.
The Party of Science believes that there is an effective “fertility treatment” for when Ben and Adam are trying to have a baby together?
Final week for gay marriage. Great news.
The Party of Science believes that there is an effective “fertility treatment” for when Ben and Adam are trying to have a baby together? Adoption.
I have always been curious about the topic of adoption by gay couples. So, two (or more) adults of the same sex — or gender-fluent individuals — have the freedom to live the lifestyle they choose, but what about the child being adopted? Does the infant have any say in the matter?
@George A. Does the infant have any say in the matter? They have as much say as they do about their gender assignment at birth. I am no fan of homosexuality however I think the child would be better off being with a homosexual parent rather than being a ward of the state. In either case it’s very sad for the child.
I would say “Adam and Ben”, just like they do in Math papers. At least there’s a precedent that way.
