  1. I’m certainly no biblical scholar, but I believe the Noah’s ark story is pretty much complete and not suitable for revision. Male and female of each species. Anyone “confused” was left to drown. Cruel perhaps (like most of the Old Testament), but I believe that was both the point and the anticipated solution. It certainly resolved any gender debate that may have existed at that time!

  2. I read the King James Bible, took me two and half years, tough to read for me, one thing I noticed was how much gold was in the Bible, there were cities made of gold, where did all that yellow metal go?

    • I love this fun fact: all the gold ever mined would fit into a cube ~21m on a side.

  3. The cute little bunny rabbits and giraffes boarding the ark two by two is nice but how are you going to explain a page or two later when Noah’s son Ham spots Noah butt naked and drunk and tells his two brothers and therefor his progeny is cursed forever?

  4. In the lesser known story of “Joel’s Arc”, Joel and his friends built a wagon that identified as an ark. They drowned in the flood.

  6. Lions still have only 2 genders, but their manes have 6. The mane is very unpredictable & tangled.

  7. Since the animals went in two by two, the story is in good shape provided the number of genders, n, is even.

    As n rises, the story therefore becomes either a heart-warming affirmation of gender diversity or it becomes heresy, depending on the current value of n % 2.

  8. Today all you would need is one of each species and a chinese genetics lab to clone as many copies as you want.
