CIA Officer: My existence is not a box-checking exercise

“I am perfectly made” and “My existence is not a box-checking exercise”:

(Note that I disagree with this Twitter user’s comment, “I think it’s safe to say the contemporary American left has failed.” First, I don’t think politics in the U.S. is supported by any coherent philosophy and therefore there is no “left” or “right”. Second, to the extent that checking victimhood boxes is associated with “left”, this ad would be evidence that the contemporary American left has succeeded.)

  1. Under G. W. Bush Scooter Libby was prosecuted for disclosing name of CIA operative now trying Democrat politician that was disclosed before. How is this ad a not an attack on US security? Shouldn’t those who made and released it be prosecuted as Scooter Libby was?
Assuming the inter-sectional lady in the add is a desk jokey and never works or wants to work in the filed the add still gives a lot info to social engineers working for hostile intelligence services to start with, especially her psychological problem.
If the add is the ruse then US public and all woke unempluable college grads who are now applying to CIA deserve an apology.

  2. I hope the term “box-checking exercise” sticks. Brilliant.

Example usage: Of the job candidates scheduled for interviews today, how many are box-checking exercises?
