Halloween in Abacoa

Happy Halloween everyone! If you open your wallet at Home Depot, is it possible to create a spooky environment when it is 80 degrees and sunny? You can be the judge! Here are some photos from our MacArthur Foundation-created neighborhood in Jupiter, Florida:

I declare these two the winners of the costume party at the neighbor’s pirate house:

  1. If any of y’all have one of those cool outdoor speaker systems for holidays like this, you’ve probably already got your playlist ready. If this one isn’t on it, consider “Dead Man’s Party” by Oingo Boingo, from the soundtrack of Rodney Dangerfield’s Finest Movie Ever, “Back to School” – 1986.

  2. Don’t know if the neighbor has every light on, if the phone is overexposing, or if Calif* is just dark. At least the electricity we import from Canadia is renewable.
