P&G wrote down the value of their $54 billion Gillette purchase by $8 billion after the Toxic Masculinity and transgender ads. The Wall Street Journal recently reported a $1.3 billion additional charge:

It looks as though Gillette is still stuck on the same 5-blade system that I tested in 2019, though it has been renamed.

  1. Life is weird.

If an engineer runs a week behind estimate on a programming deadline, he is fired and, when the market is weak like now, may end up losing his career entirely.

But for people who release a pandemic, give billions of military hardware to the Taliban, start unnecessary wars, and lose tens of billions of dollars, “life is but a dream”.

    • They don’t lose money.

These people are making money for their employers by billions.

You mistake is thinking that they work for you, when in reality they work for oligarchs. You are their cash cow. Don’t forget to pay your taxes.
