Merry Christmas from Abacoa

Merry Christmas from Abacoa, our MacArthur Foundation-developed corner of Jupiter, Florida.

My soulmate:

What if HOA rules won’t let you fly an Israeli flag (American flags only, though an exception was granted for a sacred Rainbow Flag during Pride prior to the Prideful homeowner who ultimately chose to move to the San Francisco Bay Area)? Use Christmas lights to turn the house into an Israeli flag:

At the Dakota rental complex:

Abacoa is adjacent to Jupiter Heights, which lacks an HOA. Thus, there is no limit to Deplorability:

What the yard looks like this time of year without decoration:

But everything is better with lights!

So… I hope that everyone has a great Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I plan to cook GE Monogram range convection oven turkey since the LG steam oven bit the dust after one use.

  1. I am not sure what would be better. Living there amongst the deplorability or enjoying the Turkey that is not cooked in the steamer after one use.

    • Whole turkey is too big for oven cooking to cook through uniformly. I had been usually getting sick after Thanksgiving due to not properly cooked oven turkey, until I took the matter in my own hands, bought a fryer, and started frying it in peanut oil. My turkeys are winning universal praise, even from vegetarians and people on medical diet. Injecting turkey uniformly with spice-wine marinade makes fried turkey quite juicy. Never has gotten sick of turkey since I started deep-frying it in high smoke-point oil.
You can also chop turkey with big knife, it makes great steaks, good for frying or baking. Smoked turkey is too good.
