I am just not sure why the line is drawn at this weird stage of pregnancy called birth. We already have euthanasia for old people. Why not have abortion after birth as well?
Is the parent who’s life is permanently altered by a child with autism or cerebral palsy (only noticeable once the baby isn’t moving as well as it should) not allowed to some form of recourse? Anon, I understand your deep concern for the objects that you reference as “birthed” and I think there is a solution that can be found within Islam, the world’s most Peaceful of Religions. As you surely know, Islam has a Cherished Tradition of Child Rape, which dates back over 1,000 years. As an aside, I can speak of this Cherishment based on my personal experience with my four wives–ages 8, 9, and two at 11–all of whom I purchased in Kabul last year.
In a nutshell, perhaps rather than butchering these “birthed” objects that are unwanted, they can be organized by our Wonderful Imams into a collective Common Good group that can provide Child Rape Services to Deeply Religious and Peaceful Men like me.
