Photography suggestions from the Google

If you remembered to put your Canon mirrorless system in the back of the Rolls Royce for the trip to the Bal Harbour mall, here’s the Google Maps suggestion for where to stop and take pictures… Haulover Nude Beach (note camera icon pin):

From February 24, 2020 (from the same date… “Nancy Pelosi Visits San Francisco’s Chinatown Amid Coronavirus Concerns” (NBC): She said there’s no reason tourists or locals should be staying away from the area because of coronavirus concerns. “That’s what we’re trying to do today is to say everything is fine here,” Pelosi said. “Come because precautions have been taken. The city is on top of the situation.”), at the Bal Harbour Shops:

The red vehicle at top left is a Ferrari Enzo, available as a 20-year-old used car for about $3.5 million.

  1. Haulover Inlet is one of the most entertaining YouTube channels for passing the time.
The activities there are so entertaining, it surpasses the Gloucester, MA shenanigans

GLOUCESTER — The impatient captain of a boat named Impatience tested the laws of geometry last weekend by trying to squeeze a five-foot high boat under a bridge with four feet of clearance.
    It was a poor fit.

  2. If it’s anything like San Francisco, the nude beach is all naked men over 60. We’re only liberal in a holy sense.

  3. $3.5 million for a used Ferrari Enzo – it’s a tremendous car, don’t get me wrong, Jay Leno says it’s one of his favorites – but the headlamp lenses/covers are faded much worse than the ones on my 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid? I know, I know, the Ferrari is older and it’s Florida – the sun is stronger there. How do they get that faded if the owner rarely drives it? Haven’t the folks at Maranello come up with some magic goop to put on the lenses and stop them from fading? I wonder what they cost to replace and how much of the rear end of the car you need to disassemble to remove the headlight covers?

I can buy new ones for about $130!

All attempts at humor aside, those are some nice cars, I’m appropriately impressed. I’m glad some people are out there enjoying their holiday shopping. Ciao!
