Our two-year anniversary in Abacoa

From exactly two years ago… “Meet next week in Jupiter, Florida?

We’re escaping to the Florida Free State for the Maskachusetts school vacation week (April 18-25). A journey of 1,000+ miles is the best way for the kids to get a “mask break” (under what would be the “law” if it had been passed by the legislature instead of merely ordered by the governor, walking outside one’s yard, even at midnight in a low-density exurb, is illegal without a mask).

The post from 2021 quotes the Covidcrats:

Gov. Charlie Baker said Monday he had no immediate plans to change the Massachusetts’ mask mandate, saying his administration would only do so when more people are vaccinated.

  1. Undoubtedly a few mil richer after last month’s bank bailout & disinflation tagline.

  2. So, how long before your kids escape the 6 week abortion thing back to MA. because it affects them directly? I honestly wonder what your kids think of this move?

    • ofjcn: It is frightening to contemplate my kids spending their inheritance (for which I have labored hard in the expert witness mines) on progressive social justice elite-enriching causes, but since I am a huge fan of AOC (recent tweet: https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1648857070932832261?s=20 ) maybe that is inevitable. However, if progressives believe their own rhetoric they will set up free transportation from all of the states where abortion care is restricted to states where abortion care is available at all stages of pregnancy, e.g., to Maskachusetts. So a pregnant person in Florida who wants life-saving on-demand abortion care at 23 weeks should be able to board a Planned Parenthood Airlines flight at MCO, MIA, TPA, et al., and land at the Logan Airport Reproductive Health Care (Abortion Care-Only) Clinic.
