How’s the Gender Pay Gap doing one quarter of the way through Joe Biden’s reign?

Happy Labor Day for readers who irrationally choose to work rather than enjoy the welfare lifestyle (analysis of spending power).

We’re about one quarter of the way through the glorious reign of Joe Biden. How’s the gender pay gap doing? The Wall Street Journal:

How are these folks surviving in D.C. unless they’re getting bribes from foreign governments and companies anxious to get favors from the central planners?

The median man on Mr. Biden’s staff earns $105,000, while the median woman gets only $84,000.

  1. The US Open has been triumphantly extolling the parity between men’s and women’s prize money. Curiously they don’t mention r take into account that women play best of three matches while men play best of five.

    • Mitch: Thanks for this contribution. However, I don’t think it is accurate to refer to “men’s” tennis. ATP tennis is open to players of all gender IDs. Sifting through https://www.medicinenet.com/what_are_the_72_other_genders/article.htm we could imagine a player who identifies with Apconsugender, Cavusgender, Girlflux, or Female/Woman playing Djokovic. What we actually see at the US Open is an all-gender tournament and a gender-restricted tournament in which players must identify as “women”. I am surprised that anyone who opposes gender-based discrimination would watch “women’s tennis”. If you have a trans-enhanced rainbow flag in front of your house (which I hope that you do), why wouldn’t you watch only ATP tennis, which welcomes the trans and everyone else on the rainbow spectrum?

  2. The US president, Joe Bidden, makes $400,000 a year. The US vice-president, Kamala Harris, makes $156,325 a year. This is far more than the $0.20 gap. This should be fixed first, *unless* our government is acknowledging that Kamala Harris is not an important figure!!
